Description: This layer contains data related to radiogenic heat production observations in the state of Oklahoma, obtained by the AASG for the Geothermal Data Project. The data table includes general information on the location of the observation and analysis of individual rock samples. Calculation of heat production is based on measured U, Th, and K content, which may derive from chemical analysis, gamma ray spectral analysis or other techniques. Citations are included in the dataset. The ObservationURI for a particular borehole is the cross-referencing link (foreign key) used to associate the borehole with web based information on the well construction, pictures or other information, specific to one feature.
