Description: This well and spring information was orinigally obtained from the publications: “An Inventory of Geothermal Resources in Nebraska - Final Report” by Willaim Gosnold and Duane A. Eversoll, June 30, 1983, Under Contract No. AS07-79ET27205, The University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Nebraska. “Geothermal Resources of Nebraska, 1982". NOAA map, scale 1:500,000. It was compiled by the Oregon Institute of Technology, Geo-Heat Center and made available for distribution through the AASG National Geothermal Data Systems project. There are 87 entries in the Well Information Database with temperatures of 20oC or above including 14 well with a temperature above 50oC. There wasn’t any chemistry information for a chemistry database. A collocated study was completed by the Geo-Heat Center using the database compiled from the above mentioned references. A collocated community is defined as being within 8 km of a geothermal resource with a temperature of at least 50°C. There are 9 entries in the collocated database.
