Description: This well and spring information was orinigally obtained from the references Integration of Geothermal Data along the Balcones/Ouachita Trend, Central Texas, 1983, Woodruff, Gever, Snyder, and Wuerch and Geothermal Resources of Texas, 1982. NOAA map. It was compiled by the Oregon Institute of Technology, Geo-Heat Center and made available for distribution through the AASG National Geothermal Data Systems project. There are 1101 entries in the Well Information Database with a temperature of 20oC or above including 65 wells or springs with a temperature above 50oC. There wasn’t any chemistry information for a chemistry database. A collocated study was completed by the Geo-Heat Center using the database compiled from the above mentioned references. A collocated community is defined as being within 8 km of a geothermal resource with a temperature of at least 50°C. There are 43 entries in the collocated database.
